The DC-Contact SO / SS module is engineered for signalling and annunciation needs within industrial controllers. Thanks to its snap-action mechanism, it ensures quick contact switching, even during slow plunger operation, making it ideal for safety and control systems in industrial environments.

- Polarity-Independent Installation: Dual permanent magnets enable the module to ignore +/- polarity for cabling; however, correct magnet orientation during installation ensures optimal performance and reduces mutual interference.
- Multiple Color Codes: Contacts are available in four colors for easy polarity identification during setup.
- High Durability: Mechanically rated for up to 2 million operating cycles and an electrical service life of 50,000 cycles at 2A/250V DC (L/R 20 ms).
- Wide Operating Temperature Range: Designed to operate between -40°C and +85°C, suitable for demanding industrial environments.
- Flexible Connections: Side screw connection (M3.5) accommodates up to two conductors (max. 2.5 mm²), and top plug-in connection (4.8 x 0.8 mm) complies with DIN 46247.
- Modular Design: Multiple contacts can be stacked and operated jointly, optimizing integration in control panels and systems.
- Optional Gold-Coated Contacts: Available for applications under 42V with approx. 0.2μ gold layer for increased reliability at low currents and voltages.
